Draft for legal review. This document was written by the FASHIONDEALS team to describe how the service actually works. It has not yet been reviewed by external counsel and is not legal advice. We recommend that a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction review it, and that the items in [[brackets]] (company details and points marked [[Confirm with FASHN]]) are completed before launch.

What the copilot is

The copilot is the smart search of FASHIONDEALS. You can type or speak a request in English, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and several other languages (for example “black Prada bag under $800 that ships to the UAE”, “Gucci vs Prada bags”, “how do returns work?”). It understands brands, categories, colours, sizes, budgets, occasions and countries, can refine its last answer (“cheaper”, “in black”, “size 42”), compare two brands, products or stores, and answer questions about how the site works.

Where answers come from

Answers are assembled by rule-based language understanding and retrieval over our own data only: the published product catalogue and offers, the store leaderboard, our help, legal and news pages and the size guide. Every answer links to the product, store or page it came from. No generative AI model writes the answers, so the copilot does not invent products, prices or policies; if it cannot find something it says so and offers the closest alternatives. If we add a generative model in future we will update this notice first.

Limits you should know about

  • It can misunderstand a request, especially unusual spellings, slang or mixed languages. Check the filter chips under the search box to see how your words were read, and remove or change them.
  • Catalogue results, prices and stock change; confirm on the store (see the Price and availability disclaimer).
  • Brand, size and fit suggestions are estimates; the copilot is not a stylist, lawyer, tax adviser or authentication service.
  • Information about policies and legal matters is a summary of our own pages; the full text controls.
  • Answers in languages other than English use the same catalogue; explanations taken from our pages are in English.

Voice and spoken replies

Voice input uses your browser’s or device’s speech-recognition service (which may send audio to its provider under that provider’s policy); we do not receive the audio. Spoken replies use your device’s built-in text-to-speech. You can turn voice off at any time, and typing works everywhere.

What happens to what you ask

Your search and copilot queries are processed in your browser. We do not store a transcript on our servers. The last few searches are kept on your device as “Recent”. If you allow Personalisation, the brands, categories, sizes and price range implied by what you ask become part of your on-device preference profile and shape suggestions; you can clear it any time. See the Privacy policy.

Suggestions and “For you”

Suggestion chips are built from the real catalogue (for example trending brands, current biggest savings, seasonal ideas, and local ideas for your country) and only offer searches that return results. If you allow Personalisation, they also reflect your own history. Suggestions are not advertisements.

No paid influence

Payment from a store or brand does not change what the copilot recommends or how it ranks offers (see the Affiliate and advertising disclosure).

Report a wrong answer

Tell us at [[Contact email]] or use “Report a wrong price” on the product page. We use reports to fix data and improve the understanding rules.
